Calling all keen swimmers

The lake at Kaltern-Caldaro offers ideal conditions for bathing guests of all ages, with its flat shores, shallow depth, gravelled access paths and long, sun-drenched bathing jetties.

And if you’re not into swimming, you’ll appreciate the local boat hire (ca. 1 km away) service renting out rowing boats and pedalos, along with the surfing school offering taster courses and lending out equipment to more experienced water sports fans. If you want to sunbathe in peace, you can rent a pedalo (some have a built-in slide!) and drop anchor just by the edge of the biotope, where you can relax, lie in the sun, and dangle your legs in the water to cool down.
